Dream

So you write your dream down and you live from it.  It is either up on your vision board, your laptop or mobile screen saver or in your journal.  But that's where it stays for you to view and visualise.  No one has ever really told me to TEST MY DREAM!

My coach Anel Heymans, from True Soul Science did - and that was some of the last homework I had to do!  So how do you TEST A DREAM...well as I found out - you ask yourself 5 key questions around your dream:

Does it give me more LIFE?

Does it align with my CORE VALUES?

Does it make me GROW?

Does it require help from a HIGHER POWER?

Does it have GOOD in it FOR OTHERS?

If your dream can stand the 5 question test it means that your dream is worthy of you an you can proceed with your dream building journey.  But remember this - a dream needs to be reviewed and refined on a regular basis - we change, grow and improve within life.  Sometimes our desires or longings change, our vision changes and our will changes.  It's important that your dream grows and changes with you.  Be open to it morphing - because it most certainly will.  I myself have now rewritten my vision / dream at least twice since starting with this coaching journey with Anel.  The other great advice Anel gave me was to become fully aware of my language and words I use.  She advised me to avoid stating things that I do not want - sounds obvious right - and to find words that would describe that which you love in its place in stead!  For example she advised me to start a thought with gratitude, "I am so happy and grateful now that...She also advised when writing down your dream you should be aware of choosing the right tenses - to speak in the present tense and not use the future tense.  Just remember - just because somebody thinks you should do something - it doesn't mean that that needs to be a part of your dream or vision for your future.  A dream is a very personal thing and not something that should answer to a sense of duty or responsibility.  A dream is the answer to your heart's desire.  It's your soul speaking.  I learnt this... and understood that it is very important that you dream up what you really want - not what you think other's want of you.  This is for you and you alone.

Finally - something that really had an impact on me is that everything is created twice - once in your mind and once in reality.  Do not decide for yourself what you are by not standing guard over yourself talk.  If you are going start a sentence with I AM - make sure what follows is what you want for yourself.

Thank you for following this journey.  You can contact Anel Heymans - my coach for any questions or support here.  She gifts potential clients with a free discovery session per month - ask her for your free session now - she's well worth the investment.
