As you can imagine - we've done tons of research into the viability of starting a shared office space in Cape Town - and specifically in the Suburbs. It is after-all our dream and heart's desire to host a space where entrepreneurs can feel welcome to come and work, share and grow. So doing a thorough job of researching the market's needs was of utmost importance to us in order for our shared office space stand a good chance of succeeding.
Shared office spaces are designed to be a business Eco-system.
Welcome to our new community member - Stephen Lambrick owner and operator of Beta Bathrooms Resurfacing Specialsits! This team have apparently been around since 1990 - working from home. They have taken a big step in securing a monthly desk at Superhero HQ as they require a corporate office from which to see potential clients - and receive goods from client for resurfacing.
They will still maintain their spray booth and workshop at another premise but as Stephen says, "It makes sense to take the business to the next level, and doing it this way means that we're not spending unneccessary overheads in managing and maintaining offices ourselves. This way we get all the benefits of having an office - but we get the added value benefits of slotting into a business eco-system that exists in Superhero HQ and a business park. It also gives us a professional address for client visits, client meetings and delivery of post and goods. We're thrilled and can't believe we didn't see this opportunity sooner!"
About Beta Bathrooms
These guys have been in the business forever and are an owner operated and managed business. They are out on the roads most days - either delivering newly resurfaced Victorian Baths or knocking on the doors of residential homes to resurface baths, basins, toilets, tiles, shower bases, kitchen cupboard doors, aluminium window frames and even furniture! They are big on saving the planet - one bath at a time - because every time you resurface a bath - you save on landfill! Yay!

How do find your community? How do you find YOUR PEOPLE in business?
For an Entrepreneur that means finding a group of people that shares a common interest, a common passion, a common goal and that is potentially going through the same growth pattern as themselves.
